Chhavi was an absolute gem on my wedding day! I'm honestly her biggest fan now :) Amidst all the chaos, she managed to create two beautiful sari drapes for me that made me feel like I’d stepped out of a Ravi Varma painting. She didn’t just stop there—she also draped my in-laws perfectly, and everything stayed beautifully pinned and secure throughout the celebrations. Chhavi has this incredible ability to make everyone feel at ease, and her warmth and happiness are infectious. I have to add to the chorus of people singing praises for Chhavi. Like everyone else, I truly don’t know what we would have done without her while getting ready for my Sangeet and Wedding. I was referred to her by a friend who told me if I was wearing a saree for my wedding, I had to book Chhavi. I’ll admit my mom and I were skeptical we needed the help - now we wish we could have Chhavi help us ahead of every event we attend! Both days, Chhavi swooped into our rooms and was done with each person in five minutes, saving us so much time ahead of each event. She did an amazing job draping both sarees and lehengas - she made all the women look our absolute best. As the bride, she really seemed to work with my body, my style, and my vision for my wedding day—a mix of modern and traditional—and made adjustments to make the sari feel tailored to me and my style. Chhavi goes above and beyond, too: she is absolutely an angel and a joy to have around. She will shower the women with compliments - everyone felt beautiful after being draped by her. Chhavi is absolutely worth every penny to have help at your wedding or any special event!!!

For those of you who have vision enough to look for a saree draper for your special event, look no further than Chhavi! She is excellent, kind, fun and will add to your experience. Her work is top knotch - many of the indian aunties at our wedding commented on how well the sarees were draped, and that speaks towards Chhavi's work and commitment. She also took some amazing pictures and content during our wedding in Los Angeles, some of the first we were able to post! Cool Bonus. Go for Chhavi!

Chhavi is a bowl of sunshine. She's extremely professional and was able to steam our outfits beautifully and pleat them extremely professionally. I don't think I've ever seen a neater saree on me. My body was able to shine as is without feeling like a complete different silhouette (which i've struggled with ESPECIALLY with kanjivaram sarees). She takes direction really well and was prompt & on time for all occasions.

Truly perfect draping - kept us relaxed and happy throughout - brings plenty of safety pins :) she made my non Indian family feel comfortable and beautiful. She works with all kinds of heights and body types seamlessly. Now I have been draped by her twice, once as maid of honor for my sister’s wedding in Lake Tahoe and once as a bride in New Orleans. She really made me feel and look stunning. Her sweetness and energy is infectious also :) I was so comfortable all day. She’s FAST, too! Could not recommend more.

I had the pleasure of working with Chhavi for my recent wedding in Saratoga, CA! She went above and beyond to ensure that I looked absolutely stunning in my custom Sabyasachi sari and that all of my jewelry and sari veil were perfectly set in place. From the very first text, it was clear that this draper was highly skilled and attentive to detail. She took the time to listen to my preferences and to provide expert advice on how to achieve the look I was going for. Throughout the entire process, she was communicative and responsive, ensuring that everything was just right. On the day of my wedding, she arrived early to begin the draping/pleating process, and she ensured that every detail was perfect. She was patient and kind, and she made me feel comfortable and confident in my sari. (Important because I rarely ever wear sarees). She also helped all my bridesmaids with draping their dupattas. She made each one look absolutely stunning. Overall, I cannot recommend her enough. She is incredibly talented at her art, and she truly cares about her clients.

Chhavi was very responsive and flexible when I originally reached out for a pre-pleating inquiry. We ended up deciding to fly her out to Mexico for on-site draping for my destination wedding. This helped relieve a lot of the concerns we had about draping my saree on the wedding day. She draped sarees for me and my family and pre-pleated some for our guests as well. She was extremely professional and easy to work with and I felt very confident in my look on my wedding day. My saree didn’t slip at all and was very secure. We got a thousand compliments at the wedding on how well the sarees were draped. To have her come and help us was the best decision we made.

Chhavi was a true professional! I wanted extremely tight pleats, and was really particular about how I wanted my bridal look to turn out and she executed very well! She was very professional and easy to work with! It was really worth it for us to have her on my big day, and be so stress free when it came to sari draping. She's a perfectionist at her craft, whether that is pre draping or live draping she gets is perfectly. She definitely charges much higher rates than other people in the Bay Area but ultimately her professionalism and perfection in her craft shines!

We had Chhavi‘s Sari draping expertise for my wedding in Portland, where I wore a white organza saree for the church ceremony, followed by Silk kanjeevaram saree for the reception. Besides myself, my sister, mothers, and 5 bridesmaids also wore sarees, and Chhavi had them all covered- catered perfectly to the draping styles we wanted taking care of details such as height, ease of carrying, fluffiness of the pleats, etc. Even if your mom knows how to drape a saree, I highly recommend hiring Chhavi so that everyone is happy, relaxed, and looking their best! Chhavi‘s services are totally worth the price.
